Chambers belongs to a series of prints and drawings that reference natural forms, but are not directly representational of specific things. While observational drawing is an important part of the process, and some components are drawn from specimens collected by the artist, they are combined to create an imagined abstracted object that evokes unexpected emotions and associations.
